- The Canadian government advises its citizens not to visit Syria due to the ongoing armed conflict, terrorism, criminality, arbitrary detention, torture and forced disappearance.
- Canadians that were born in Algeria, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen or GCC member state do not need a visa.
- Canadians of Syrian origin don't need a visa , they must have a proof.
- Canadians with a residence permit issued by GCC member state or Lebanon, can obtain a visa upon arrival. They must have a valid address in Syria, a contact number and sufficient funds to cover their stay.
- Nationals of countries without any Syrian representation can obtain a visa on arrival.
- Syria Visa Fees is 100 USD for Tourism duration of 1 month single entry.
